Union Square, New York City - Closed

Olde Good Things Union Square is located in one of the most popular districts of Manhattan. A focal point for New Yorkers and city visitors alike, you are likely to see something unforgettable at any time of day in Union Square. You may be caught up in an impromptu bodybuilding class or spectacular street performance, or simply cool your heels while lounging around the Square much as Kerouac and the other Beat writers did years ago.

Directly down the street from Olde Good Things, you will find the famous bronze equestrian statue of President George Washington alongside the Marquis de Lafayette, Abraham Lincoln, Mahatma Gandhi, and the James Fountain. The famous Union Square Greenmarket is held Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday year-round, making our store a convenient side-street adventure on shopping day. The store also offers several established alternatives to uptown shopping, including Barnes & Noble, Babies ‘R’ Us, and Staples, along with eclectic local shopping opportunities and a variety of local and international dining experiences.

Our store is located at Number 5 East 16th Street since 2009, less than a block northwest of Union Square. This location features 6,000 square feet of merchandise on two levels. Our 16th Street store mimics the hum and activity of the area, with our colorful stock of repurposed architectural salvage items, antique and vintage decor pieces, and custom altered antiques that mirror the changing face of this historical neighborhood. You can easily access the Union Square Olde Good Things from any location in the city by way of the 14th Street- Union Square Station.
