The Taylor Chair Co. based in Bedford, stands as the longest standing business in Northeast Ohio and is reputed to be the oldest family owned company in the United States. The roots of the Taylor Chair date back to 1816, when Benjamin Franklin Fitch started crafting handmade, split bottom, slat backed chairs in his cabin, which occupied the present day intersection of Libby and Warrensville Center Roads.

This 1960s Taylor Chair Co. Bank of England bench is a vintage classic. Crafted from oak wood, this slatted back bench reflects timeless design and durability. It is in good vintage condition with appropriate wear from age.
