This grand bronze pediment is original to a turn of the century Philadelphia bank building designed by renown architect Frank Furness. The bank once stood in the heart of center city Philadelphia at 1413 Chestnut St. The frame is detailed cast bronze with egg and dart detail. The frame originally held marble which is no longer intact but could be retrofitted with marble, glass or another material.
