White marble mantel with tan sienna marble trim, veined with dark gray and brown. The center of the header and top plinths have carved urn and fruit detail. This mantel was one of a group of antique mantels imported from Europe and installed in the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in the 1930s when the hotel was first built on Park Avenue. This mantel is original to Room 37H. The original hearth is not included.
