White marble mantel with gray veining and gray and black decorative details along the legs and top plinths. The shelf is detailed with a thin sleek green line. This mantel was one of a group of antique mantels imported from Europe and installed in the Waldorf Astoria hotel in the 1930’s when the hotel was first built on Park Avenue. This mantel is original to Room 39M.
