English Regency style statuary marble mantel with carved cherubic detail in the middle of the header and corner motifs. This mantel consists of unique beige marble panels with red and brown veining, and carved statuary marble motifs. This is complimented by veined statuary trim pieces and shelf. This mantel was one of a group of antique mantels imported from Europe and installed in the Waldorf Astoria hotel in the 1930s when the hotel was first built on Park Avenue. This mantel is original to Room 10H. The original hearth is not included, however a replacement may be available.
