English Regency white carrara marble mantel with slight gray veining and carved urn detail on the corner motifs. This mantel was one of a group of antique mantels imported from Europe and installed in the Waldorf Astoria hotel in the 1930s when the hotel was first built on Park Avenue. This mantel is original to Room 14A. The original crema marfil marble hearth is included.
