This Louis XIV marble mantel, originating from the former residence of Gloria Vanderbilt at 39 E 72nd Street in NYC, was acquired by Olde Good Things. Its serpentine apron boasts intricate embellishments, featuring a central motif adorned with floral carvings and intricate scrolls of acanthus leaves. The angled vertical supports also showcase elaborate carvings of foliage and scrolls, both above and below the fluted corbels.

Having been expertly removed, this mantel maintains an excellent condition, eagerly awaiting installation in its new home. A photograph capturing the mantel in its original state at 39 E 72nd St. is thoughtfully included, offering a glimpse into its past and the elegance it brings to any space.
