Victorian Gothic Tudor revival carrara marble mantel with a simple peaked arch. This was original to a 5th Avenue townhouse in New York City in 1890. This photo is taken ‘as is’ in the original location. This will bring out the detail of the carrara marble, which is desired for its subtle gray veining. The ornate cast iron insert is also included as seen in the photo.
