Early 19th century English Regency dark green veined marble mantel with cherub motifs. This mantel was one of a group of antique mantels imported from Europe and installed in the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in the 1930s when the hotel was first built on Park Avenue. This mantel was original to suite A on the 15th floor. There are some chips on the right and left corners of the shelf and the upper left trim. The original hearth is not included.
