Period French Louis XV Rouge Royal Marble Mantel

$22,000.00

SKU: J180258 Categories: , , , ,

This mantel is an 18th century Louis XV rouge royal marble mantel with white and gray veining. Hand carved, this piece features a serpentine apron with an unusually deeply carved center motif creating a sculptural centerpiece. The design is balanced with heavy curved molding at the bottom of the apron, which continues all the way across the side panels. This mantelÂ’s side panels are constructed as two parts, separated at the molding. Minimal lines highlight the curved panels on the slightly angled vertical supports. Imported from Europe by Danny Alessandro & Edwin Jackson Mantel Company, OGT was pleased to add this piece to our collection. Danny and Edwin were fine mantel dealers that specializing in fireplaces and mantels for private clients and their collection carries the quality and timelessness one could expect from these mantels experts accordingly. One mantel available. Please allow 3-4 weeks for processing.
