Presenting a vintage marble fireplace, predominantly adorned in a vibrant red hue. Its design features a timeless heavily curved serpentine apron, embellished with a gentle shell motif at the center, accompanied by intricately carved flowers, scrolls, and leaves spanning. This artistic fusion finds further harmony in the inclusion of large angled corbels draped with graceful acanthus leaves. The ensemble is complemented by a matching marble hearthstone.

At the rear edge of the mantel shelf, where it meets the chimney wall, the measurement spans 53 inches. This fireplace was procured by Olde Good Things, still in its unopened crate labeled as originating from Italy. As per the seller’s information, the fireplace is believed to have been crafted in the 1970s. Remarkably, the mantel remains unused and its finish boasts a polished and pleasant sheen.

While the mantel is virtually pristine, with only a very minor repair to the mini plinth beneath the right corbel, its condition can be likened to new. If you wish to witness the assembled mantel firsthand, it can be viewed at our downtown Los Angeles location.
