This large-scale off-white marble mantel with gray and green veining is a stunning piece of 1920’s art deco design. The shelf is finished with a rounded lambs tongue edge. The apron features an intricate shield-shaped and tiered keystone. Starting on either side of the shield, deeply carved channels run from the center of the apron to the bottom of each leg. Two floral medallions frame the mantel opening, and full-length half-round return plates with subtle carved lines complete the soft features of this design.

This piece was acquired from a townhouse on the Upper East Side of Manhattan during extensive renovations. The length and width of the shelf can be cut to reduce the overhang, and decrease the scale of the mantel if desired. Please contact us if interested.

This piece has been cleaned and is in very good condition with slights patches of light brown patina that contribute to its vintage allure. Located at our Scranton Warehouse, please allow 3-4 weeks for processing.
