This ornately carved marble door surround once adorned the entrance to the vault room of a bank in Coney Island, Brooklyn. The building is from 1923. The marble is in excellent condition with a few minor chips. The marble is believed to be Turkish rose. If you donÂ’t need a door surround, one could make this into a great mantle as well.
