This knotty pine paneled library room is salvaged from one of New York City’s turn of the century townhouse estates. The wood is solid and the craftsmanship is excellent with simple carved details. The room includes eight floor to ceiling bookcases as well as the original library ladder and brass hardware for rolling around and accessing your favorite books. The bookcases have adjustable shelves and some with no backs. Whatever you may have on the upper shelves may be retrieved with a solid antique Putnam rolling ladder. As is typical of these rooms, there is a marble mantel included as well. This one is a green marble bollection mantel.
