If you have shopped online in our Hardware category lately, you’ve probably noticed the abundant cabinet hinges we recently uploaded. It may come as a surprise that we have a whole room in our national warehouse dedicated to hinges (see below). Our hinges range in size from tiny 5/8 inch cabinet hinges to big industrial Bommer door hinges. Some hinges are salvaged, and some are olde new stock, never used. There are two helpful ways to shop for cabinet hinges online: by finish and by type. Read below to get started.
Shop Cabinet Hinges by Finish
The finish on your hinges will typically match the pulls or knobs on the cabinet doors. Just like hinges, we have a large number of cabinet knobs and cabinet pulls. If you need a large quantity of cabinet hardware, email us directly. Make sure to include the quantity and finish.
Shop by Cabinet Hinge Type
Butt cabinet hinges, the most commonly used hinges, consist of two leaves joined by a center pin. Each leaf has screw holes. The leaves are then mounted flush on the frame and door side. Typically only the barrel is exposed when the door is closed.

Surface mount cabinet hinges are used when the cabinet base and door are flush or offset. The full hinge is visible when the cabinet door is closed, so surface mount hinges often have a decorative shape and appealing finish.

Offset cabinet hinges are a type of surface mount hinge, used when the cabinet door is positioned on top of the frame overlapping. The standard offset used today is typically 3/8 in.

Butterfly cabinet hinges, another type of surface mount hinge, get their name from their wing-like shape. They can be either flush or offset.

Face mount cabinet hinges are partially concealed hinges. The part attached to the door is visible, while the part attached to the frame is unseen unless the door is open.

Partial wrap cabinet hinges have one leaf that attaches to the inner edge of the cabinet while the other leaf attaches to the door. A full wrap is when it wraps completely around the frame into the cabinet. Partial wraps extend just to the frame edge.
