This is a cornice section from the Crown building, West 57th Street, New York City built-in 1921. It was designed by Warren and Wetmore, architects of the Helmsley Building and Grand Central Terminal. It is made of Muntz metal (brass, copper, and zinc) with detailed arches and faces at each end. The faces were originally intended to watch over the building. This 4.5 foot section makes great wall art or even a bookshelf ledge. The figural faces at each end are still intact and are sure to watch over your home as well. Priced each.
