The basin of this three piece fountain was carved from a single block of marble. A unique figural bronze spout is included. This fountain was reclaimed from a townhouse located in the “Gold Coast” section of New York City’s Greenwich Village. The house was originally built in the 1800’s, and was renovated in the early 1900’s. The fountain is circa 1900. There appears to have been another piece that stood on the pedestal at the rear of the floor basin.
