French lithograph printed with the pochoir process by Gamy, Marguerite Montaut. The theme is: “Garros Gagne le Grand Prix de l’aero club, 1912” translate to “Garros wins the Aero Club Grand Prix, 1912.” Signed Gamy. Gamy Montaut is famous for documenting various historical events around the turn of the century when motorized transportation, including airplanes and zeppelins, emerged. This is matted and framed and is in excellent condition. There is a mounting wire attached to the back.
