Circa early 19th century statuary white marble Georgian mantel with Verde Antico insert. This mantel was imported from Europe and installed in the Waldorf Astoria Hotel of Park Avenue, New York City circa 1930. It is original to the A suite of the 31st floor, where Herbert Hoover resided during his New York City stays. There is a crack in the shelf and minor chips in the center decoration.
