Louis XVI Style French fireplace mantel made of light gray and white Carrara marble. Details include side rosettes on both corners and a wreath in the center, with scrolled leaves on both legs. This mantel was one of a group of antique mantels imported from Europe and installed in the Waldorf Astoria hotel in the 1930’s when the hotel was first built on Park Avenue. It is original to the 34th floor of the Towers, specifically 34H.
