Louis XVI French Regency carved limestone mantel. This was imported for installation in the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in the 1930s. There is minor chipping which appears somewhat evenly on the legs and shelf of the mantel. This lends to the character and authenticity of the mantel rather than taking away, giving it an aged stone look. This was original to the M Suite of the 15th floor.
