Brown ceramic tile mantel reclaimed out of the famous Iver Johnson building in Fitchburg, MA. The tiles are thick and big with original crackling. These ceramic mantels were manufactured by the Hartford Faience Co. of Hartford, CT. Hartford Faience, founded by Eugene Atwood, was originally a partner with William H. Grueby of Grueby tiles. Two sizes are available.
