A very beautiful ceramic tile mantel. We salvaged this ceramic mantel out of the famous Iver Johnson Building in Fitchburg, MA. Thick and big, these tiles are beautifully crackled. These ceramic mantels were manufactured by the Hartford Faience Co. of Hartford, CT. Hartford Faience, founded by Eugene Atwood, was originally a partner with William H. Grueby of Grueby tiles. We have two sizes available. See item no. K191657 also. Both sizes are available in pairs!
