This solid carved cherry mantel is from an original Pennsylvania coal baron mansion from the 1890s. The wood has a beautiful warm patina with the original finish. The beveled mirror is intact. There were originally two full height spindles on each side of the mantel, which were removed and neatly finished at some point in time. Please see the photos. The tile surround is no longer available.
