Elegant glass library globe made by George F. Cram Co. Set on a mahogany stand with fluted, turned legs. Founded in 1869, the George F. Cram company has outlived almost all other 19th century map publishers to remain a major name in the industry today. The George F. Cram Company began manufacturing globes in 1932. As of the beginning of 2012, the George F. Cram company’s operations have been shut down & all products have been discontinued at this time.
