Olde Good Things has just acquired a limited supply of these fantastic Holophane globes from Paris, ready to be transformed into great contemporary lighting for either a residential or commercial application. These globe lamps are available with a steel pole or with a chain for use as a large pendant light. The hallmark of Holophane luminaires, or lighting fixtures, is the borosilicate glass reflector/refractor. The glass prisms (ribs) provide a combination of up light and down light to illuminate any environment evenly without creating dark spots or glare, making this light perfect for any application where even lighting is desired.
