This gray wrought iron panel was salvaged from the grand staircase of the Sterling Hotel in Wilkes Barre, PA. This prestigious hotel stood at the grand entrance to Wilkes-Barre in the heyday of the anthracite coal barons in the early 20th century. The hotel was frequented by many respected guests, including Eleanor Roosevelt herself.
