Cast iron newel posts with floral detail. Made in the 1880s. These were used widespread in front of brownstones in Brooklyn New York around the turn of the century. One post has the zig-zag in the mid-section and the other post does not. The posts are structurally sound, but do not include the finials. Reproduction ball finials can be used without taking away from the original look. Priced as a pair as is.
