This is a slightly longer Victorian Aesthetic latch. Normally hung vertically, it has the hole to insert a pull chain to operate the latch. It can also be hung horizontally to latch a door as well. We do have a chain that can be purchased if you wish to use these to open transoms or for the top of French doors.
