1940s Brass 3 Arm Down Light Chandelier

$520

This three-arm chandelier is a representative example of Colonial Revival lighting defined by its distinct "strap" arm construction. Unlike fixtures with cast or tubular components, this design utilizes flat brass bands that curve in a continuous bracket shape from the central turned baluster, creating a silhouette that is visually lighter and more industrial. The downward-facing sockets are capped with simple bell husks, providing focused illumination suitable for task areas or dining surfaces.

The brass finish retains its original antique patina, exhibiting oxidation and surface wear. The fixture has been restored with professional cleaning and new wiring. The purchase price includes up to 3 feet of chain; additional length is available for a surcharge of $10 per foot. Please specify the required overall drop height when purchasing. One available.
