Pair of Antique 7.5 in. Bronze Chicago Door Passage Back Plates

$75.00

SKU: Q283210 Categories: , ,

The Chicago Hardware Manufacturing Co., originally based in Chicago, IL, and later Niles, made its mark from 1878 to 1913. After a change in ownership in 1907, it dropped the “Niles” reference and transformed into the Sager Lock Company by 1913. This transformation marked the culmination of the company’s impactful history.

This pair of antique Chicago made door passage back plates crafted from durable bronze are not only functional but also carry an attractive and enduring quality. These back plates are typically used to enhance the appearance of passage doors, those without locking mechanisms, by covering and protecting the area around the doorknob and latch. They are in excellent condition. Priced per pair.
