Inscribed “Fort Dearborn – A Century of Progress – Chicago 1933”. Folk art style blue and white lace piece in a black wood frame. Fort Dearborn was a wooden stockade built in 1803 on the south bank of the Chicago River. The fort was the U.S. ArmyÂ’s westernmost outpost in the early 19th century. The glass is intact. There is a mounting wire attached to the back. This is in good condition, with some staining.
