French Regency Limestone Louis XVI Mantel with Greek Key Motif

19th Century tan Louis XVI carved limestone French Regency style mantel. The mantel has carved floral detail on the top plinths and Greek key detail along the header. This mantel was one of a group of antique mantels imported from Europe and installed in the Waldorf Astoria hotel in the 1930's when the hotel was first built on Park Avenue. This mantel is original to room 764.

Local Pick-Up
