Unique mirror made from salvaged copper window frame. The copper has been polished to a slight shine. This window came from a New York City building called the McAlpin Hotel. In 1947, Jackie Robinson, a resident of the McAlpin hotel, living on the 11th floor, received the phone call here from the Brooklyn Dodgers that would change America forever by being the first African American player in Major League Baseball.
