Waldorf Astoria Petite English Regency Carrara Marble Mantel

This incredibly detailed English Regency style mantel is carved from warm white marble with graceful gray veining. Prominent and delicate fluting runs the length of the apron and down each leg. In the apron's center is a rectangular urn motif, complemented by two matching urn motifs, one above each leg. The shelf is carved with two grooves, carrying the theme of clean lines throughout the piece.
This antique mantel was one of several pieces imported from Europe to furnish the historic Waldorf Astoria Hotel in NYC, which opened on October 1, 1931. This mantel is original to Suite 31T. A Waldorf Astoria authenticity card is included with your purchase.
Pictured still installed at the Waldorf Astoria, the original marble hearth is cracked. Located at our Scranton Warehouse, please allow 3-4 weeks for processing.

Local Pick-Up
