Waldorf Astoria English Regency Painted White Marble Mantel

This English Regency style mantel was reclaimed from the Waldorf Astoria. Painted white, above each jamb is a motif of an ornate urn. The edges of the narrow shelf are modestly carved with a single groove.
This antique mantel was one of several pieces imported from Europe to furnish the historic Waldorf Astoria Hotel in NYC, which opened on October 1, 1931. This mantel is original to Room 15R. A Waldorf Astoria authenticity card is included with your purchase.
Pictured still installed at the Waldorf Astoria, there are some chips on the right and left corners of the shelf and the upper left trim. The original hearth is not included. Located in Los Angeles, please allow 3-4 weeks for processing.

Local Pick-Up
Local pick-up for most orders is available in our New York City store and Scranton, PA, warehouse. A fee may apply for larger or heavier items. Processing time may take 1 to 2 weeks. We also have a location in Los Angeles that we ship a large freight container to several times a year with store pick-up available. There is an additional handling charge for this option.
