Aged Cast Iron Newel Posts

Cast iron newel posts with floral detail. Made in the 1880s. These were used widespread in front of brownstones in Brooklyn, New York around the turn of the century. The posts are structurally sound, but do not include the finials. There is a piece missing in the base of one of the posts, which can be reinforced upon installation. Reproduction ball finials can be used, without taking away from the original look. Priced each.

Local Pick-Up
