SOLDThis chandelier is a 20th-century piece designed in the Napoleon III Empire style, featuring eight arms and a patinated black and brass finish. The structure includes a central black basin mounted with a brass crown and wreath motif, with eight curved arms supporting candle-style light sockets and white sleeves. A decorative crest with an anthemion design circles the upper rim of the basin. The fixture is suspended from a circular, ornate ceiling canopy by cast brass chains with open-work links.
Originally located in the corridors of the Waldorf Astoria Towers in New York City, each purchase includes a Waldorf Astoria authenticity card. There may be variations in details such as finial, chain, or canopy. The price includes restoration of cleaning, and rewiring.
