Complete Set 5 Cast Iron NYC West Side Highway Plaques

$6,800.00

SKU: Q276886 Categories: , , , , ,

These were reclaimed from the innovative NYC West Side Highway in 1931, which was first known as the Miller Elevated Highway. Between the guardrails at regular intervals were seals of New York, from the first seal of New Netherland in 1623 to the seal used by the city of New York when the highway was erected in the 1930s. This is a hard-to-find complete set of original medallions plaques.
