Some chips and wear. Manufactured by J. J. G. Low Art Tile Works in the late 1880s. The Low Art Tile Works, formed by artist John Gardner Low in 1877, was a very successful and award winning tile company, producing many unique glazes and art tiles. Low art tiles were made by the J. and J. G. Low Art Tile Works of Chelsea, Massachusetts, from 1877 to 1902. There are imperfections and minor chip & scrapes from age.
