Antique oak McKinley rocker built around 1900-1904. It features a distinct Arts & Crafts design influence combined with Victorian multi-spindled construction. These chairs were associated with the Larkin Soap Company. They were produced as highly coveted gifts given to customers or general store owners who purchased or sold a certain volume of Larkin soap products. The name "McKinley Rocker" honors U.S. President William McKinley. Fair condition with surface wear, chipping veneer, and its joints need to be reinforced.
