This special order card catalog, a pivotal piece of the New Life library furniture collection by John E. Sjostrom Co. Inc., remains a vintage gem meticulously crafted from solid maple and enriched with steel and nickel hardware. Its authenticity is evident in the drawers still cradling cards, each measuring 3 inches in height by 5 inches in width—a historical touch as they were reclaimed from Upsala College in Orange, New Jersey.

While the catalog carries a fair condition, showcasing a resilient character, there are noticeable imperfections. Mismatched drawers add a unique element, and one drawer face has suffered a crack. Scratches and damage to the top contribute to its vintage charm, and the finish around the edges is chipping off, indicating the passage of time.
