White and tan marble mantel with gray and brown veining on the tan sections. There are carved cherubic details on the top plinths and middle of the header. This mantel was one of a group of antique mantels imported from Europe and installed in the Waldorf Astoria hotel in the 1930’s when the hotel was first built on Park Avenue. This mantel is original to Room 35M.
