18th century Louis XV rouge royal marble mantel with white and gray veining. The serpentine apron has an unusually deeply carved center motif and a heavy curved lower molding which continues all the way across the side panels. The side panels are constructed as two parts, separated at the molding. Minimal lines highlight the curved panels on the slightly angled vertical supports. This is one of several acquisitions from Danny Alessandro & Edwin Jacksons Mantel Company.
