This classic antique marble mantel is of the Louis XV style. The serpentine apron is decorated with a scrolled fleur di lis motif, while detailed lines highlight the carved panels on the angled vertical supports, as well as across the apron. The pieces of this mantel are in very good to excellent condition, having wear consistent with its age. The surface of the marble is also in very good to excellent condition with a fine luster finish. This is one of several acquisitions from the Danny Alessandro & Edwin Jackson mantel company.
