New Warehouse Location! Capital Records Building

For all of you who have visited our treasure chest location at our National Warehouse in Scranton, PA, well now we have some good news!  Now there’s a double treasure – the opening of a second EVEN LARGER location with 136,000 square feet of recently unburied treasures. Furniture of all types, architectural artifacts including kitchen cabinetry and complete paneled rooms – showcases – you name it – guaranteed it’s there. This location is the old Capital Records Building – six floors of wide open space – now gradually filling up with architectural treasures from many famous NYC buildings such as the Toy Building at 23rd St and 5th Avenue. We are open to the public at both locations, only our new location is by appointment. Just let us know that you want to come and we’ll gladly set it up. If you are building or designing a new project or if you are a dealer looking for some great deals, you’re welcome! Many dealers en route to Brimfield love to check out the goods at our warehouse. Marble Mantel of the Week

Have you visited our Upper West Side, Columbus Avenue store lately?  We recently acquired the entire collection of antique French and American marble and wood mantels from Danny Alessandro & Edwin Jackson, Ltd – specialists in fine mantelpieces for over 100 years.  Many of these mantels are now on display at our NY Stores.  We have chosen this fine Belgium black marble mantel with gilded bronze Hercules face and acanthus leaf detail as our mantel of the week for our blog readers!  It is on display right in the front of our 450 Columbus Avenue location.  This choice is over 100 years old – in excellent overall condition – and the applied bronze detail has a rich patina.  Only $30,000.  Come take a look at this piece and many other fine possibilities for your next marble mantel.

New Acquisition – 32 Meter Putzmeister Concrete Pumper Truck

Olde Good Things is set up right now at the Renninger’s Antiques Extravaganza in Mt. Dora, Florida.  See us in Booth 3072-73. Shop for treasures at the largest antique fair of its kind in the South! Renninger’s Antique Extravaganza features 1,400 dealers of antiques and collectibles spread over 117 acres of rolling countryside in beautiful Mount Dora. The Antique Extravaganza is also held during the third weekends of February and November.  Hope to see you there!
