The story of Olde Good Things goes back a good 22 years. In 1995, a few friends set up a booth at the (now closed) 26th St Chelsea Antique Market in Manhattan. Artifacts sold at the flea market were initially acquired by dumpster-diving for unique architectural items.
Seven years later, Olde Good Things incorporated and went from a booth of a few square feet in a NYC flea market to over a quarter of a million square feet of architectural salvage and has evolved into one of the largest architectural antique dealers in the country. Expansion has prompted the opening of four locations in major cities on either side of the country (with a fifth opening next month) and two large warehouses located in Scranton, PA.

While most things sold at OGT are in as-is, vintage condition, our salvage crew has come across a lot of raw materials along the way. These pieces found in old, historical homes, abandoned factories and run-down barns are reclaimed and reused in our Altered Antiques line so as to revive and keep them around for years to come.
