Pair of Large Tudor Style Double Doors with Wavy Glass

$2,200.00

SKU: F112940 Categories: , ,

These antique double doors have solid pine frames covered with pine veneers on the front and chestnut veneers on the back. They were salvaged from a convent in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They have a Tudor style design accentuated by four raised panels and two arched wavy glass lites. The hardware that is included consists of: two original iron flush bolts, two escutcheons, a knob, a slide lock, and a rim lock. The doors date back to the 1880s, and considering their age, they are in great shape. One door has a break on the back side of the lock stile (probably broken during the removal of the hasp portion of the rim lock). The glass is fully intact and also in excellent condition. Sold as a pair.
