1940s Secret Wall to Wall Bookcase Library Paneled Room

Carefully extracted from a hidden library of an East side Manhattan estate, this room includes over 40 linear feet of 8 foot high wall to wall bookcases, an additional 20 linear feet of 5 foot high bookcases, along with the original base, crown and upright face moldings to retain the original vintage appeal. The wood is a combination of mahogany along with pine with a mahogany finish. The book shelves and original hardware are included, but you will need to add the backs on most cases. There is a large section of recessed panel mahogany wood paneling as well as decorative headers for two large windows or door frames. There is a lot of material to work with to configure to your specifications and the cherry on top of this lot is the original Putnam library ladder with a deep wood patina!
